Kevan has just returned from traveling. He visited friends in Toronto, LA, and NYC. It was a lot of fun and rather educational at times. If you happen to be in Manhattan go see Chris Shyer in "Mama Mia" and don't miss the Musical "In The Hieghts" or the play "August: Osage County" both destined for Tony Award fame.

Kevan has just finished principal photography for "Day The Earth Stood Still. The film is scheduled for release December 12 2008 so keep an eye out. He has also recently been interviewed in the Edmonton Examiner which will be added to this site in a new press release section soon.

I'm currently working on the 1950’s remake of “The Day The Earth Stood Still” sharing screen time with Keanu Reeves (Matrix) and Jaden Smith (Pursuit Of Happiness) This project is scheduled for North American release in December 2008.

Lots of things are happening. I recently changed agencies in Vancouver and have taken on some East Coast representation. I am in TO right now and will be here exploring the market at least until Halloween.

The play I had mentioned before is finally up on its feet. Peter Huck is Directing and producing the show along with fellow cast mate and producer Rhonda Dent. My best friend Alain Chanione and Kirsten Kilburn are also staring in the play with me. It is called "Spanish Girl" by Hunt Holman. It has been an amazing experience and a great learning one too. The play is running at the Havana Theatre from August 28th - Sept 2nd.

Lots of things have been in the works lately. I have written a script with one of my best friends Alain Chanoine called "Truth Lies In The Middle" which we are hoping to shoot late September. I am venturing into producing and acting in my first play here in Vancouver, BC called "Spanish Girl" by Hunt Holman. I am putting it up with some of my closest friends and most respected colleagues. Last but not least, I have booked a great role in a new MGM movie directed by Amanda Gusack and produced by Vincent Newman. This has been a very productive and exciting time.

Well, I just finished shooting "Blood Brothers" and it was a great learning experience.   The shoot was interesting to say the least and I met a bunch of great people, it was also nice to work with friends I have had for a while but not yet had the privilege to act with.  I can't wait to see how the film turns out.

In a couple weeks principal photography will begin on the indie horror movie "Blood Brothers" which I will be playing the character of Dan. The film is written and directed by Rick Faraci and Pat Sayer.  The film will be entered into many film festivals across the globe including the giant horror festival in New York City and another in Germany.

This project looks like it will be a lot of fun and the cast, that I have met so far, is amazing.

Well, it's been a while, and many things have been happening in my life and my career. The most "news" worthy though is that I have just booked a principal part in a 1 hour TV movie series called Masters of Horror the episode will be directed by Tom Holland and is called "We all scream for ice cream"

I received confirmation today that I will be playing the character "Shades" in a Short Film called "The Weight of Light" written by Jericca Cleland-Hura. The Film is intended for the Festival circuit and is about a teenage street girl who wrestles with the realization of where her life has led her and what kind of person she has become. When she stumbles upon the suicide of a friend, she comes face to face with her own fears of death and recognition of mortality. This transforms her perspective on life and gives her the strength to be true to her
