Kevan was born and raised in Alberta Canada by his grandfather, a firefighter and WWII Vet.
Growing up he played many sports, but it was Martial Arts he found a real talent for. By the age of 16 he had studied a number of different disciplines, held a 1st Dan Black belt in Taekwondo, won numerous competitions across Canada, and taught professionally at a local club.
Acting in school plays ever since he was 5 Kevan's original career path was law enforcement. It wasn’t until his senior year of high school that he took a hard look within and realized that his passion had always been entertaining others. He began training with Alberta’s Bill Davidson & immediately began booking roles in docudramas for Alliance Atlantis, National Film board of Canada, and a very special “Remembrance Day” edition of local television show Mentors.
Continuing to develop his craft Kevan has since committed to extensive study in all forms of theater and film acting. Studying with many repected teachers across Canada and abroad.
Since beginning his professional career in 2002 Kevan has appeared as a recurring character on ABC’s teen drama Life As We Know It with Sean Faris and Kelly Osborne, Clark Kent’s (Tom Welling) football buddy on CW's hit television series Smallville, Battlestar Gallactica working alongside Lucy Lawless (Xena Warrior Princess) and along side Keanu Reeve's in Day the Earth Stood Still.
